Homeschool & PEP

Annual Portfolio Review

A Stress-Free Celebration of Your Childโ€™s Growth Florida law requires homeschool and Personalized Education Program (PEP) students to undergo an annual educational evaluation. As a veteran educator with active Florida certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Reading K-12, I view this requirement not as an audit, but as a celebration of your child’s unique learning journey.

A Simple Four-Step Review

We have streamlined the review process into four simple steps so families can feel prepared, supported, and confident from start to finish.

01

Schedule Your Review

Reach out via our contact form to secure your evaluation date. Once booked, you will receive our Pre-Review Checklist, which takes the guesswork out of exactly what you need to gather.

02

Material Submission

Prior to our meeting, you will submit your childโ€™s educational log and select work samples. Our checklist ensures you only submit what is necessary, saving you time and organizational stress.

โ€œThis is not an audit. It is a positive, state-compliant celebration of your childโ€™s growth, progress, and unique learning journey.โ€

03

Celebration Session

We will meet virtually or in the Studio for a brief, positive conversation with you and your child. This is an opportunity to discuss their favorite projects, areas of growth, and what they loved learning about this year.

04

Official Evaluation Letter

Following our session, you will promptly receive your formal, state-compliant evaluation letter confirming your childโ€™s educational progress, ready to be uploaded to your district or Step Up portal.
